Workshop led by Cathy Dalton
This workshop will examine the overlap between existing Universal Design practices and standards in the built environment, and designing for the needs of neurodiverse users. Participants will be invited to explore and discuss the synergies and potential conflicts between design for sensory sensitivity and design for sensory disability, in order to “make sense” of the plethora of design recommendations put forward by specific user-groups.
